My artistic foundation is crafted in the hot and cold shops of glass studios. The industrial hardware, physical labor, and technical skills required to evolve design into product fit well into a working class experience. Add education; an imaginative inclination, a desire to cultivate a fine art lifestyle, then swirl the intense engagement of a glass shop with everything else and my formative aesthetics are established. Preoccupied with this creative substructure I will go on to expand and incorporate the importance of teaching, the practice of psychology to strengthen analytical thinking and earn a living. Poetry will always flow in and out of my production process.

The work that follows is of figurative sculpture that represent a novice artist who chose the human motif to express ideas, thinking; “An observer will respond or connect to the physical form subconsciously.” Inspiration is also derived from exploring the psych and the lean clarity of poetry.
